ROSES IN SUMMER.   I took this boquet of roses in a vase outside onto the porch rail in the bright sunshine.   The shadows were strong which simplified the shapes of the roses and gave and interesting design quality to the picture.   This small study (8x10") is shown in a dining room setting to help you imagine what it might look like in a larger size.  This painting can be commissioned in a larger size.  16x20, 24x36, 30x40
